Will Smith Banned For Ten Years:

         The Motion Picture Academy has taken action against prominent actor, Oscar Award winner Will Smith. It was banned for ten years from attending Oscar awards ceremonies as well as other Academy Awards functions. The Motion Picture Academy blamed the style of Will Smith's behavior at the Oscars. Smith, on the other hand, reacted to the decision. He said the academy respects the decision. Smith has already resigned from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

             Here's what happened: As part of the recent 94th Academy Awards, narrator and comedian Chris Rock narrated a comedy track featuring Will Smith's wife Jada Pinkett. Jada was completely shaved due to alopecia. Chris Rock compared her to 'Demi Moore' in 'GI Jane'. Unable to bear this, Will Smith went straight to the stage and Chris' cheek felt valid. Shortly after the incident, Will Smith received an Oscar for Best Actor. However, Smith apologized to the academy and colleagues for responding on stage to the incident. The next day Chris Rock publicly apologized in response to the Instagram platform. He wrote that he could not bear to make jokes about his wife. The affair led to a somewhat heated controversy.
