Bigg Boss 13: Devoleena Bhattacharjee hospitalised, may exit show for a week or more

TV actor Devoleena Bhattacharjee has stepped out of the Bigg Boss 13 house and been admitted to a hospital. A Times of India report claimed Devoleena was rushed to a hospital after her backache aggravated. She had been dormant, avoiding tasks and household chores on the reality show for some time now.

She hurt her back during a task and ever since, even Bigg Boss declared that Devoleena may decide whether she wants to participate in the tasks assigned to the housemates on a daily basis. Devoleena had undergone a major back surgery in 2017.

Reports late Friday suggested Devoleena may have been eliminated from the show. However, the English daily claimed she voluntarily exited the house, owing to her ill health and may return in a week or two, depending on her recovery.

A Spotboye report quoted a source as saying, "Yes, Devoleena has been admitted to the hospital and is under observation as of now. Due to her exit, this week makers have cancelled any other eviction. If she feels better, and can continue with the show, Devoleena may come back."

Devoleena has been one of the strongest contestants on the show this year. Never shying away from voicing her opinions, Devoleena has also displayed her love for loyalty and friendship. She has often paid back for people's favours for her, in kind, even when the person turned away from her - Sidharth Shukla being one of the biggest examples. She understands how ill-mannered he is and but that does not stop her from standing with him, if he is in the right.

The DC comics film, Joker, has crossed the $ 1 billion mark at the global box office.

The Joaquin Phoenix starrer created history for being the first ever R-rated film to hit the benchmark.

Joker becomes the 7th movie of 2019 to join the the billion-dollar club.

It is also a first in the non-Disney and non-Marvel club to hit the mark.

Earlier, Deadpool 2 had surpassed The Matrix series business to become the highest grossing R-rated film. However, Joker has now surpassed both to become the most commercially successful.

Produced on a budget of $62.5 million, the film’s business had been profitable for all.

Joker also won the Golden Lion honour at the Venice Film Festival despite critics being divided over the film’s acclaim.

The film is likely to join others in the awards season race next year in February.

Joker revolves round an aspiring stand-up comedian in Gotham city who descends into madness as his career and life begin to spiral out of control.

It was 50 years ago when the name Amitabh Bachchan flashed on the big screen for the first time when he appeared as an actor in 1969 released movie Saat Hindustani.

Amitabh Bachchan first tasted success in the early 1970s for films such as Zanjeer, Deewaar and Sholay, and was dubbed India's "angry young man" for his on-screen roles in Bollywood.

He was last seen in the film 'Badla.'

Referred to as the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Star of the Millennium, or Big B, he has since appeared in over 190 Indian films in a career spanning almost five decades.
