The much-awaited RRR movie is just a few days away from the release and the makers have been doing all sorts of things to get the best income from the movie. Meeting the Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is one of the moves that RRR makers made to have a smooth and profitable release in AP.
Now, the latest news is that the Telangana government has also permitted to hike the prices of RRR movie tickets.
If we have a look at the prices in Andhra Pradesh, the Jagan government permitted all the theatres to raise an amount of Rs 75 per ticket over and above admission rates. Also, in cities, single-screen theatres can sell the tickets at Rs 236 and multiplexes for Rs 265 for 10 days from the date of release.
On the other side, the Telangana has also given a boost to the movie by allowing the multiplexes to hike Rs 70 and Rs 100 extra (normal & recliner) for 3 days and Rs 50 extra for the next 7 days, starting from March 25th. For the category of AC single screens, rs 50 extra has been permitted for three days and Rs 30 extra for 7 days.
In addition, the distributors can put on 5 shows a day for the first ten days. For the first three days of this calculation, ticket prices will be Rs 350 in multiplex theatres and Rs 225 in common theatres.
